• Inform The Japan Times of the date of your school bee by Dec. 20, 2020
• Conduct your school bee between Dec. 21, 2020 and Feb. 3, 2021

Please note that school winners must satisfy all of the below age criteria to qualify for Japan Spelling Bee:

1. The speller must not have passed beyond the eighth grade on or before August 31 1, 2020.
2. The speller must not have reached his/her 15th birthday on or before August 31, 2020.
