<p>Congratulations to 12-year-old Ariya Narayanasamy, 12, from the India International School in Japan for winning the 10th Japan Times Bee! Narayanasamy won by spelling the word “forbearance” correctly. According to Webster&#8217;s New World, the word means “the quality of self-control; patient restraint.”</p>
<p>Narayanasamy will go on to compete at the 92nd Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., this May.</p>

<p>In the previous years, we held Japan Times Bee in our previous headquarters building in Tamachi, Tokyo. However, as our office has moved to a new place, the 10th Bee competition will be held at Tokyo Global Gateway, which is located in the Times 24 Building near Obaida, Tokyo</p>

<dt>From Tokyo:</dt>
<dd>Take either the Tokaido Line bound towards Shinagawa, Yokohama, Odawara, Yokosuka Line bound towards Shinagawa, Yokohama, Kurihama, Saikyo Line bound for Shinagawa, Keihin-Tohoku Line bound towards Shinagawa, Yokohama, Ofuna or Yamanote Line (Outside route) to Shinbashi (a.k.a Shimbashi) Station.&nbsp;
<p>At Shinbashi (a.k.a Shimbashi) Station, transfer to the Yurikamome Line (Outside of the Shiodome exit at Shinbashi (a.k.a Shimbashi) Station) and get off at Telecom Center Station. From there, please refer to the instructions from Telecom Center to TGG Building below.</p></dd>
<dt>From Shinagawa:</dt>
<dd>Take either the Ueno-Tokyo Line bound towards Tokyo, Yokosuka Line bound towards Tokyo, Chiba, Keihin-Tohoku Line bound towards Tokyo, Omiya or Yamanote Line (Inner route) to Shinbashi(a.k.a Shimbashi) Station.&nbsp;
